It kind of depends, if he's going to be honest. Still, the sentiment is there. Sherlock doesn't really need to know. He's not their dad. ]

( and she would tell the truth. the question is: would sherlock believe it? it seemed he was inclined to think the worst of her, so perhaps it would be more difficult for him to trust her motives. )

He can always jump to the wrong conclusions and that may make things difficult for you.

He's not the sort to come out and ask you to clarify things, is he? Once he reaches his own wrong assumptions, he'll keep them to himself.
